NTT INDYCAR SERIES Drivers Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

AutoNation has announced that NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers: Jack Harvey, 2016 Indianapolis 500 Champion; Alexander Rossi and Marco Andretti, will in fact help the retailer support its Drive Pink (DRV PNK) initiative. In addition, help kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The drivers will sport pink liveries in the race airing Saturday, October 3rd at 2:30 p.m. EST on NBC. In fact, the DRV PNK logo and pink brand elements will be on the driver’s cars, fire suits, and helmets. “AutoNation is extremely grateful to these three outstanding drivers and their teams. In fact, we thank each of them for their partnership and their commitment to helping drive out cancer!” said Marc Cannon, AutoNation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer.

Making a Difference in the Fight Against Cancer

Jack Harvey is glad to help make a difference in the fight against cancer. He is No. 60 AutoNation/SiriusXM Honda Drivers and podium finish in the 2019 INDYCAR Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Also, Harvey commented he was honored to be joined by Alexander and Marco to DRV PNK for AutoNation. In turn, he wants to help raise awareness and funds that he has hopes will lead us to a world without cancer.

United In Our Efforts to Drive out Cancer

Alexander Ross, No. 27 AutoNation/NAPA AUTO PARTS Honda Driver and 2016 Indianapolis 500 Winner says the drivers may be fierce competitors on the track, but off the track “they are completely united in our efforts to drive out cancer.”

Challenges of Those Battling for Their Lives

Marco Andretti, No. 98 AutoNation Honda Driver and two-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES race winner says, race car drivers do in fact indeed face challenges however it doesn’t compare to the major challenges those who are battling for their lives either the cancer survivors or those fighting now.

DRV PNK Philanthropic Initiative

DRV PNK is AutoNation’s hallmark philanthropic initiative. In fact, it’s a company-wide effort that focuses on charitable giving and volunteerism to raise awareness, generate resources, and build support for diverse groups impacted by cancer.
